Hey guys,
Haven't been active on this forum for a while, recently I have been thinking about freshening up my 95 4Runner, one thing I need is a new tailgate and I came across a guy that is selling one off of a 1990 4Runner with the rear tire swing.
My question is will the tailgate off of a 1990 fit my 1995? and what is involved in installing a stock tire swing on a 4runner that didn't come with one from the factory? I imagine there is bracing that needs to be done but is it a straight forward job? would it be worth it? or would it be cheaper and easier to have a fab shop make me a custom rear bumper with a tire swing on it?
