Looking for info; ive already consulted "the chart" regarding wheel upgrade sizes. I have a stock 2016 black sr5 prem, that id eventually like to put SCS wheels on. I believe i have 265s on stock rims. If a went w either a 265 Toyo or KO2 on a 17" rim (hopefully a Ray!), would i need, other than poss a fender or liner mod, to make any accommadations to fit? I at this time do NOT want to get a lift/spacers/UCA/etc- would like to stay stock height/suspension.... thanks!! Mike

I have the exact same offset 17x8.5” size wheels as the scs you are considering.This offset moves the wheel further out. Also have P265/7017 Falken Wildpeaks mounted on my wheels.
I also have a 2.5” lift with Spc UCA’s.....
.....I had to do the inner fender mod plus trim my mud guards. Honestly they only rubbed reversing at full lock with a little flex but yeah they rubbed.
Stock, I believe you are definitely going to rub and how much it rubs will depend on the tires you install. You may be able to adjust your alignment (caster) to help with the rubbing. Adjusting the caster can move the wheel either forward or back in the wheel well. (I probably could of played with my alignment to get rid of the rub)...drives so well, didn’t want to jack with it!

No one will be able to guarantee fitment unless they know exactly what backspace and off set you plan on choosing. As long as you don't go bigger than 265, I dont see why you would need anything else as long as the wheels are not extremely backspaced one direction.

Front mud flaps can be an issue also. I run SCS wheels with a 265/70R17 Falken AT3W (which is a true 32" tire at 31.9" as opposed to a lot of 265/70R17s which are closer to 31.5"). I tried bending the mud flaps a bunch with a heat gun and finally gave up and pulled them off (I don't really care for how they look much anyway and figured I'd break one off on a trail at some point).
I had to cut out my front bumper cover and push the fender liner in. I still get a touch of rubbing at full lock on one of the liners, but have been too lazy to go and try to debug it. Plan on upgrading my front to Bilstein 6112s and lifting it a bit at some point also in the next year or so, thus why I'm not super motivated

Stock tire on stock wheels
A 265/70R17 tire is the stock size for T4r and they fit perfectly on your stock wheels. You don't need an 8.5" wide rim for that. If you're going with a 285/70R17 then yes, you not only need a wider rim but also a lift to fit the larger tire.
Save your money and use those perfectly good OEM wheels.
