No help, sorry, but I feel your pain. That's why my current deck is a 30 dollar cheapy, my radio harness is hacked, and I have no steering column trim.

Thieves are trash.
 
What color is your interior? I think I have an extra radio trim for the stock radio. I even have the stock radio. I'm not sure if the radio works but my trim is brown and the p/o said the radio works. If you want it then pay for the shipping and it's yours.

I don't know if you're joking or serious, but don't boobytrap your truck. You'd likely be criminally liable if somebody was hurt by your traps.

You might already know this, but I thought I throw it out there.
 
Not sure if it fits, but I have my stock radio/CD player out of a 98 if you want it. Im in Indy, which isn't too far...or if you're ever down here. Let me know.

Had a 1970 Firebird, a beautiful little hotrod, with an extremely rare un-cracked dash top--so thieves totally destroyed the whole area around the radio when they stole mine, ruining the dash! I feel your pain, bro--makes you want to do something really nasty if you ever catch one in the act. Thieves are such cowards.

i'm sorry to hear about this.. and to think that i thought that stealing a radio these days was so ghetto i thought that they did not do it any more... i'm putting in a alpine cde-123 this weekend... i'm finally going to leap into the middle ages.

That does suck big time! I just got my 4Runner last week and upgraded my stereo. I don't have the mounting brackets but I have an installation kit that I didn't use and the old Pioneer stereo that I took out. It still works but it didn't play MP3 discs that's why I changed it out. If you want them let me know.
Oh yeah and by the way giguchan...... I love your avatar!!
