stolen 4runner

Now I've told u guys that I rolled my 4runner and got it stuck but what I havent told is is this:
Well heres the story...me and one of my roommates went 4 wheeling on friday. It was some public trails that had a few "playgrounds" as they were called, mud holes, hill climbs, and rocks. It also had a very long trail the connected everything. It started out as a good day, this was the first real wheeling experience me and my roommate had had in either of our trucks. I had a 93 4runner he has a 01 TRD Techoma, both recently bought. We were on our way out and I decided to try a difficiult creek crossing/rock crawling section, not a good choice...damn low hanging gas tank. I put a good dent in it, enough so that when i compressed the right rear suspension my drive shaft rubbed. I wasnt to worried about it, only took a screwdriver and a hammer to bang the bent part out of the way. After that we decided to just leave and no more messing around so we did but there was still more misfortunes to happen. I was the lead truck and on the way out i came up to an enbankment to the left that dropped straight down 3' with a trail to the right. I turned my wheel right...truck kept going straight(mud filled tires), I hit the brakes...kept slidding straight off the enbankment. Front left hit first then the back end came on over and i was upside down. There was less damage than i thought, most of the front left and the hood and 2 monor dents but otherwise drivable by all means. No leaks or anything. We got the truck back up right by the only way to pull it out with little damage was backwards but we didnt have a truck strong enough to pull the front tires straight up a 3' enbankment. I took untill Monday to find someone to get me out, no tow truck could get down there. Heres the best part...on moday i went to my local 4 wheel shop to meet with a guy to get me out, his jeep was the heat. We went down to where my truck was and it wasnt there. Some one stole the bitch. We drove all the trail but found nothing. I went back filed a stolen car claim was the cops, called insurance and am wating for a call back from them to figure out whats gonna happen. So thats my story and im sticking to it.

Maybe we are looking at this the wrong way..... its not his 4runner that was lost in a ditch, but it is ChaosN8 who is lost in a ditch......come back ChaosN8, you can find your way home!:awais:

this is a true story and yes i could of gotten it out myself but there would of been a lot of damage if i did. if i pulled it out fowards the back end would of dropped down 3' and smashed the rear of the truck, the only way to get it out with minimal damage was to pull it backwards up and out of the enbankment but i needed a serious truck with a winch to get me out. it took me 2 days to find one cause like i said no tow truck could make it down there and by the time i found someone to help me out the truck was gone. there was glass all over the place when i got there indicating the bitch ass theives yanked it out fowards and smashed out all the glass. the were parts from my front end laying around too, head light housing, turn signal, etc. i know this seems like a kind of bullshit story but i wanted to preserve my truck as much as i could. and for all u naysayers f*ck you this shit sucks.

Their is an area where my friends use to go into the woods to offroad, the cops warned us you get stuck and leave your vehicle in their it's free picking.

Don't you know your area, I knew plenty of guys who thought they where badass with their lifts and 35's and would get stuck cause their was some extreme angles and when it rained it was like driving in glue, I went in their to a point but once I went passed my limits and came within inches or destroying my trans pan, never again;):

and your comments, they only add to the intelligence of your post count of 6, you should try posting your tail on yotatech :)

Yeah

Post this exact thread on Pirate, I bet someone has it from there anyway, jk;)

He would be crying if he talked like this on Pirate, they would make him feel so bad.

Anyways, sorry to hear about the theft, that bites a big one.
