Hello,
Last night some thieves sawed the catalytic converter off my 97 4runner. Unfortunatly thats not the worst part.
When they were cutting they sliced off a piece of the manifold pipe which is friggen impossible to replace.
I welded some flex pipe in place and did my best to attach it to the manifold. It runs well & there is just a bit more noise at idle. It definatly has more pep and accelerates faster.
However, it's not a big deal, the real problem Im faced with atm is the precat 02 sensor they took with them. Im left with a sliced up wire (it has 4 wires) so need to get my hands on an 02 sensor.
Im posting this basically trying to track down a diagram of the wiring scheme because there are 4 wires. I really dont know what color wire goes where.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I live in Canada, while it is illegal to not have a cat, there are no emission tests here. So im running (no pun intended) with it until either I get caught or find a good deal on a cat + cat protector)
