Storage Compartments in Engine Bay...

Would adding some type of storage box in engine bay be a bad idea? Was thinking of maybe finding some type of compartment to store jumper cables and some other heat resistant tools... suggestions/ideas appreciated

Some time back, a member mentioned storing jumpers under the back seat cushions. Looked ok, I have forgotten to do it myself.

I think it was Snooperstyle who had done this with his air compressor install. Maybe he will chime in.

I put my jumper cables in a plastic bag and tied them up into the spare tire.
