Storage containers

I use a pair of Front Runner Wolf Pack boxes and a pair of Cub Pack boxes, under a DIY'd storage shelf/rack; with the Front Runner labels it makes it super easy and convenient.

Are they pretty weather resistant? I read somewhere that they have holes in the bottom?

i used 2 big plano boxes before i got my drawer system, and to be honest, I wish i didn't get the drawer system and kept to the plano boxes.

Plano boxes offered way more flexibility than a drawer system, weighs considerably less, and didn't rattle all day long.

That’s good feedback. I’m pretty pleased with my Plano sportsman boxes. But I sometimes feel the need to tinker.

I've been really happy with these 46 qt. containers from the Container Store for only $18 ea. They do have a foam gasket around the lid and I leave them outside when camping. They are big enough to perfectly fit a roll of paper towels standing on end. I would not travel with them on the roof regularly, but they would work in a pinch.

Four containers fit on the factory sliding tray near perfectly.

Do you have a link for those 4 latch, beige topped containers?

I've since moved on to using these in conjunction with my drawer system.

1. clear lid/ see through
2. stackable
3. can sit on it.
4. hinged lid and removable if necessary
5. lockable
6. lifetime warrantee since its husky and Home depots are everywhere
7.bunch of different sizes
8. comes in red or black.
9. water resistant.

basically, its a do it all storage bin for camping.

There’s on old thread about how 3 of the Plano sportsman medium totes fit perfectly in the back of a 4R. The local Home Depot was discontinuing the army green ones, so I got them for <$15 each.
