Storage ideas for RTT?

Just curious on ideas how you all store your RTTs. Currently have it in the garage floor but I’d like to rack it/hang it/ something to get a parking spot back lol. 5 cars and a 2 car driveway I need that garage spot!!

Thanks all and happy holidays!

there's a couple different hoist systems that you can buy that attach to your ceiling. or you could make your own using eye bolts and a hand winch or ratchet straps

I have a kayak/canoe hoist rigged up in my garage that I retrofitted to lift and store my RTT. It works well and keeps it out of the way.

- I have two hoists for bicycles that I use to get it to the ceiling. The hoists (pullys and ropes) are permanently mounted in the ceiling joists.
- I have four large eye bolts into the joists.
- Two eye bolts each side have a wire cable (coated n plastic) running between them with climber's carabiners at each each to hook onto the eye bolts.
- I raise the RTT with the hoists (two ropes at the same time), lock the hoists, connect the two cables, lower the RTT onto the cables. Safe and secure regardless of earthquake etc.

One person job, takes about 10 minutes to get it up and secure.
Two people literally halves the time.
