Storing 285/70 spare inside truck

Ok, I've been debating the 285/70 vs. 265/70 situation due to the fact that I can't keep a 285 spare under my truck. I don't want it on my roof rack. I don't want to buy a rear tire carrier. My only feasible solution is to keep it inside the rear strapped down. I know it will begin to stink eventually in my 4r, so is there some sort of air-tight tire bag that I can use to minimize that smell? Has anyone else tried to keep their spare inside? Any suggestions/ideas?

I use 2 bags from the tire shop and can't smell it at all.

if you want something a bit cleaner you could always try this: Tire Glove. Not sure how air tight it is or the cost, but it's an option.

Dumb some arm and hammer or some charcoal (for fish tank or other type filter) into the bag. Those will help to absorb odor.

I have it in my 4runner for more than a year. No smell at all. My tire is old.

Putting a new tire in back will stink, one that's been used won't smell at all.
