I have a very strange problem, that comes and goes, and is rather annoying!
At certain RPM (just under 1000, and around 1500-2000) I get a rattling, vibrating sound which appears to be coming from behind the gauge cluster.
It does not happen at any other RPM, and does not seem to be vibration related - there can be a lot of rough road and the rattle still disappears when not within those rev ranges.
It almost sounds like some gear that drives the tacho is slipping - is this even possible?
Any hints would be awesome!
