Strange Device Under Steering Wheel

Found this black plastic device that's wired under the dash to somewhere. Couldn't really follow the wire but I think its worth mentioning I have a microphone set up from the previous owner towards the top of the A pillar and a pioneer AVH 200EX head unit. Anyone got any information on this thing?

That's a Jewels Fan. The positioning of the blower slots toward the driver's crotch are a dead giveaway.

Prior owner must've been trying to get his wife pregnant.
I'll bet he had to switch from tighty-whities to boxers, too.

Aight so I just turned on full ac and there was no response from the device. Its either not working or its for something entirely different as it looks too small to actually blow any air.

It’s a brake controller for towing a trailer or RV camper.

I highly doubt it because most trailer brake controllers have an interface/buttons on them and are generally larger.

dealers install those to control the opening of doors instead of getting the keys. also it doubles as an aftermarket alarm its added to the price of the car unless you opt out than they just deactivate it and if you take it off it leaves 2 small holes....
if you follow the wires its usually a ground and power.

This. Although the ones that I have seen don't control the doors, they are just an ignition cut device. Had a Dodge Ram that I bought from a dealer years ago with one installed. I finally removed it and one wire was ground, the other was splices into the ignition wire. Easily removed and just splice the ignition wire back together.
