Strange E-brake Light Issue

This is a weird one..

My e-brake light comes on when I make right hand turns.

Only happens when going fast enough the body rolls in the turn. Doesn't happen in left turns or at parking lot speeds.
The light will randomly come on when it's cold as well.

E-brake works fine in the up position and releases all the way down.


Any ideas what is causing this?

Excellent suggestion. I've been thinking only of the cable. I'll check that in the morning and report back.

Brake fluid is just a hair above what I would say is halfway between the Min and Max line.
Don't think it's low enough to cause the light.

Well, sure enough.. adding some more brake fluid did the trick!

Strange because it wasn't even close to the min line.
