Strange high pitched tone

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced hearing a high pitched tone (about 5-10 seconds long) when driving their 4runner. Nothing on the dash is lit up so I'm confused as to what it is coming from. I was trying to connect it with the cold weather since I have not heard it until recently.

The tone will come on, say while idling at a light, and then once I start accelerating it goes away in that 5-10 second gap and never comes back more than once. Hard to explain but any help would be great. (Only occurs once in a while)

The sound seems to be electronically made though, almost sounds like it is coming from the radio or something else on the dashboard area. If I can remember correctly, my brother's 4th gen made the same sound sometimes but only for a second after starting. I'm even wondering if it has to do with the change in power usage from me changing most of the lighting to leds if possible.

Resurrecting an old thread as mine did this today for the first time when pulling away from a stop light. I didn't see any other threads similar to this one.
Nothing was lit, blinking or otherwise indicated any type of issue.

Did anyone ever figure this one out??

Ha. Indeed.
I wish I could blame her for this one.

It's a lot like the sound if you open the door when backing up or pulling forward a bit.

Lasted at least 5 seconds and only has happened that one time.

For me, it actually turned out to be the amplifier for an older sound system I installed from a previous car. It went away after I saw it was being grounded by a metal bolt in the trunk and it didn't like that haha

Thanks for getting back.
Mine must have been aliens after all.

Mine is an electric noise whenever the brakes are pressed. I must have good hearing bc not many other people can hear it. Happens on brake press and when I use a turn signal. Is a faint electric whine driver side dash near the air vent. It has to be the electrical assembly making some noise when engaged.
