Strange Jingling Noise

One weird little noise I've noticed in my truck is a slight, jingling or tinkling noise coming from the back of my 4Runner as I drive away from my house on a somewhat bumpy, packed snow road. I'm thinking maybe it's a sound from the VSC system.
I'm hoping it's not one of them '60s acid flashbacks.
Anyone else heard it too, or is it time for me to take that one-way drive to the Alaska Pioneer's Rest Home?
Thanks,

JP

I've had a lot of noises come from back there, but the 4Runner's never tinkled..... :D

Maybe there is something behind the rear seat causing it? I can't think of anything in the rear compartment that would create that kind of noise.

My vote is for the 60s acid flashback!!!

what was that movie called? Fear and Loathing in Alaska? lol

JP,

Here is what the tinking noise was on my 4R, its actually was stones / sand / debris hitting the tube step bars.

Its gone now , since I took the steps off and packed them away in the garage, since I like the look better without them and my pants don't get dirty from rubbing on them.

I knew I shouldn't have used the word 'tinkling' with you characters!

I really do hear something. First I thought it was the keys in the ignition, but it's definitely coming from behind me in the truck. I've never yet taken out the jack and stuff that's in the rear left locker. Is there something in there that tinkles, er.. I mean jingles?

I have heard that noise too, usually when it is raining. Probably water running on/off the vehicle somewhere.

But I still think it could be the acid... lol j/k

That could be it, Mike.
It sounds almost melodic, like those little Christmas things they used to have with the candles under the round hoop on top with the little paddles and little angels hanging down. And the heat from the candles went up and pushed the paddles, and the hoop went around and the little hanging clappers hit the little bells as the hoop turned around, and.........

OMIGOD it is the 60s acid!!!
Stay away from me, you purple rats with flippers!!!

Ok, tonight I stated that there was a thread on here (snowman's greeting thread) that I claimed was the funniest thread I had read on the forum...

scratch that, JP I am having trouble typing I am laughing so hard...

Now that was the funniest thing I have read on this forum

Thanks HiVel-Jr
Coming from a resident of Sleezville, that's high praise indeed. I've been to Sleezeville once or twice, but I didn't fit in.
They were a little too hoity-toity there for me. No offense.
