I recently replaced my front rotors, pads, had rear drums turned and replaced rear brake pads. Since i have had a high pitch squealing noise coming off of the front. Also after the brakes get warmed up right before i come to a complete stop i hear this loud rubbing noise. Almost sounds like the tire is rubbing (its not though) 4runner seems to stop fine doesn't pull to one side or another. When it makes this sound you can feel it in the floor boards. I am going to take it all apart this weekend but does anybody have any ideas.

maybe a bent dust shield and brake dust, and also like said above you must use the grease otherwise you will get some odd sounds from time to time....
how are the brakes actually working? any vibes going with the noise? any fade going on?
if everything is driving great and working it's most likely a bent dust shield and some grease/dirt on the rotors from installation and should go away in a little bit

Thanks for the info i will check on those dust shields tonight i bet that is what it is. I don't feel any fading brakes seem to be stopping good. I do feel more vibration with the new brakes than i did with the old. Mainly at highway speed and coming down steep hills. The fronts didn't really need to be changed but i bought new rotors and pads so i did them anyway the rears were shot though. I'm a little worried that one of my new rotors is warped. Would a slightly warped rotor start rubbing up against that dust shield? Seems like it would have to be really warped.
