Strange Sound from undercarriage during acceleration

**My apologies if this has been discussed before, but there are so many ways to describe this noise that I may not be searching for the right thing**

OK, so driving home from my mother-in-law's house this evening, my wife and I both kept hearing a strange sound from under the truck (front part of the truck, maybe a little to the passenger side) - a wobbly, creaky rumble (but not a good rumble - like from a Borla exhaust or something) that lasted for a couple of seconds when accelerating from a stop or near stop. We veered off to the supermarket parking lot near my house, and recreated it over and over and over again. I only have 800ish miles on this thing, and now my wife is concerned about it.

Anyone else hear this noise?

Just guessing...

Check for anything loose.
Check to see if something got inside the airbox.
Check the radiator level (low might produce a gurgling sound).

Check the front body mount bolts where the nerf bars attach. I recently installed Westin nerf bars and I had the same sound you're describing. It turned out to be a loose front passenger body nut that I didn't tighten enough. Loosen the nut, center the bolt and retighten. Don

I had a very similar noise, but knew right away what it was as I had installed nerf bars the week before. They shifted ever so slightly and the mount points were rubbing the body frame which made a creaking noise when accelerating/braking at lower speeds. A slight adjustment later and we were back to silence.

Thanks guys! That makes perfect sense, since it sounds very, very similar to the sound you get when you're messing with those body mounts during the nerf bar install.

Undercarriage noise

Do you happen to hear this noise after your T4R has been running for about 15 - 20 min & it sounds like a loose exhaust component or rattle at low rpm or as you let off the brake. If so, I had the same problem. Let me know if this fits your description.
