Hello everyone, looking to see if anyone can help diagnose the problem.
Starting to hear a strange noise when accelerating { flooring it } while cruising on the highway or around town. Basically I floor it while already driving, for example to pass another vehicle on the highway, the transmission downshifts, but I hear a faint squeel very similar to a belt squeeking that you hear on cars sometimes. So it squeels, and then accelerates without issue. The noise lasts for a split second prior to the accelerating, then it stops and all is quite. Does anyone have any ideas? The truck is an 08 sport with the v8 and 17k on the odo. I appreciate any help.
