I was thinking about putting in better aftermarket ones. I don't do a lot of offloading but go on some rough dirt roads sometimes.

I'm partial to the Bilstein HD's. The plain old yellow/blue ones. AJUSA.com usually has the best prices on them.

I had Tokico Trekmasters on my 2000 Limited with 99 tall springs and I loved it. I don't remember them being too expensive and the ride was great.

I just replaced my front struts and springs with monroe quick struts, and the rears with raybestos springs and Rancho rs9000 shocks and I'm pretty happy with it for what I spent. Monroe (which includes rancho) have a promo on right now for buy 3 get one. I ordered everything from Rockauto.
