Does anyone know if one of the short stub antennae will fit on a 2002 4runner. My current antennae is broken and I am looking for low pro option. Thanks!

I'm looking moreso to do the "Taco whip" base, with a shorty mast as opposed to the OEM one that is taller than the roof of the truck. I suppose any aftermarket screw in mast should suffice, but I'm sure some work better than others.

we call them the scion tip cuz its the one on most scion cars and they plug right in to the tacoma non electric mount

If you have a detachable mast antenna now on your 02 then the Stubby as shown should match the thread exactly.
If you have a powered antenna then no it is not going to work.
I had a similar Stubby on my 2nd gen. The radio reception was noticeably worse. It also had no 'give'-no flex- so car washes with those heavy wet blankets that slap the vehicle were always stressful.

This is what I have as well. I just put the outside antenna in powered off position and unhooked it from power.
The new one installs with sticky tape and I put mine on the windshield behind the rearview mirror. There is an LED light on it that shows powered. You simply need to connect that power wire to the one that was powering your exterior antenna. I routed the wire in the header of the windshield, down the drivers pillar, on the side of the dash, and then up and underneath into the back of the radio. I did have to get a short extension to make it a good clean install, but I love the thing. No more bent antenna - the bane of my existence. You do have to ground it, and I did that on a screw under the roof console... The grounding wire is a pretty wide and flat braid so get creative or solder/crimp it to a lug (which is what I did)
