Stuck oil filter....

When I change my oil, I make sure I have on a leather belt. Just make a loop thru the buckle, fit it over the filter and pull in the direction that the filter unthreads. Has always worked for me. I've seen the screwdriver trick rip the end of a really tight filter, making it even harder to remove. Good Luck!

I actually tried this today and it worked, until my belt broke ha it was old and narrow im assuming a wide belt would work better. It turned the filter just enough i could start getting it with my hand.
