Hi,
I've just been accepted into a study abroad program here at Texas A&M to go to New Zealand this summer (leaving 5/16). I'm extremely pumped about it, not just because it's New Zealand, because of the things we are going to experience and be taught.
Here is where the favor comes in.
The program costs $8000. I'm doing my best to get financial aid for this, which is going to be all loans right now which won't be dispersed until 10 days after I leave. So those first days I won't have any money for food, etc... I was advised to write a sponsorship letter detailing the course and asking for any monetary support that could be given, no matter what size the contribution. I would like to ask all of you here if you would be interested in reading this one-page letter and helping me out by passing it on, or personally helping me in some small way. The letter I have written gives the option of sending any contribution directly to the school under my name, or sending directly to me. If sent to the school it will become part of my summer tuition and not be dispersed until the 10 days after, and this method was offered as secondary for those not comfortable sending to me by my financial aid advisor.
I appreciate any help greatly and I will be truly thankful for whatever you can do.
