Stupid rear wiper sensor

Good evening.
As you know ,the rear window will not go down unless the rear wiper is in the docked position. I find my wiper keeps on falling out of the position even if I don't use it.... ..
I was thinking about gluing it in place but then thought if the sensor thinks it's out of position again I will be royaly screwed as I won't be able to reset it.
There must be a way to bypass the sensor so it thinks it's always in the docked position, if anyone knows an easy way to do this please let me know. I'm sure it will be very helpful to alot of other folk aswell.
Thank you.

Disconnect the wire that connects to it. When wiper is not "parked", that switch closes and connects to ground. PLs see my post on How rear window system works.

As above I never use it so I took the motor and mechanism out and then connected the blue with red stripe write to the green wire.
All sorted just have to either glue the wiper in place to stop it hanging down my rear window or take it out completely and buy a plug for the whole.
Hope this helps someone else.

I shaved my wiper hole when I installed my Hilux surf rear spoiler. Tried to disconnect the wire and remove the motor but rear window didn't work. So I put the motor in but removed the shaft. Thanks to davehaynes1 for the wiring solution! I'll have to do that next weekend!!
