Stupid warranty questions

I'm new to this forum, as I just purchased my first T4R. It is a 2007 SR5. It has remaining warranty, as it currently has 27K miles on it.

Anyway, as so often the case when you buy used, I have noticed a couple issues after I got it off the lot that I am wondering if they could be covered under warranty.

1. The rear speakers don't work. Unless I am an idiot, when the Fade is set at 0 there is nothing. When I move the fade to the rear I get nothing.

2. One of the headlights must have a bad seal, as there is moisture in it.

Thanks for any help you can give. I didn't get an owner's manual yet, so these forums have already been a huge help. I figured out the different 4x4 settings yesterday, which was very helpful.

Take it back to the dealer and see what they can do.

Both should be covered under warranty. There's been a few here who had moisture enter their fog and/or headlights and had the dealer cover them under warranty. I haven't read about speakers going out, but some have also had their malfunctioning headunit replace. So I see no reason for them not to cover those two issues (unless there's some type of damage caused by the previous owner).

You should also be able to buy a Toyota Platinum extended warranty (if you're interested). Normally, any Toyota still covered by the original factory warranty is eligible. I don't recall seeing something that says the second owner isn't eligible though.
