Hi all-
I've been doing a lot small mods to the 4Runner and never had the time to share it until now. This mod was actually done last summer and I finally got around to take some pictures of it. When I got the 4Runner the first thing that came off were the step tubes, I'm just too tall for it and it always got in the way. But with the tubes removed, I didn't like the fact the frame was visible with all the holes, x-reas component, body mount, parking brake cable, etc.. showing. So, I decided to make a cover with HDPE plastic to hide all the junk on the frame. It is bolted to the existing holes were the tube brackets mounted to and it does not reduce ground clearance a bit. The x-reas component also benefited by the cover from debris kicked up by the tire.
