Subwoofer | How do you keep it secured?

I've got an extra enclosed subwoofer I'm going to install in the 4Runner. However, the cargo area is pretty big and I don't want the box tumbling all over the place. My initial thought is to use a strap to secure it to one of the d-rings, which should keep it in one place and make it easy to remove. Then again, I'm not 100% certain as to how to keep the strap from slipping off of the box.

So for those of you with subs in the back, what did you do?

I just have a 10" MTX sub and it's carpeted and sits right under my security cover and that's what really holds it in place but over the last 6 years on and off the road I've never had a problem with it but if you're concerned with it that much just remove it for the trail runs but on the street it shouldn't go anywhere.

So for those of you with subs in the back, what did you do?

I have a single 12" in mine and it's not strapped down. Before I do anything, I just make sure it's up against the back of the seats, OR I don't take it with me (just leave it at home) I have my disc golf stuff and my kit bag (tie downs, toe strap, flares) on either side and it does just fine.

use some hd velcro, or put like 2 rings on the box and use the strap with the factory d rings in the trunk, if u really want heavy duty, i use some L brackets/ straps that are metal, the ones they use on wood working, and line up the factory screw holes on the flow with the strap, then trace the line where the starp and box meet and then screw the strap to box, lay it back down to match the floor bolts and secure.
