I have two JL w6 10's with a custom ported box for sale. They subs are perfectly fine i added silicone around the lip and the cone to make them stronger when I first got them. They are about 7 months old. Hunting season is here and I need room in the back to put the guns there. (If you pick it up local its all still hooked up for you to listen to)

Paid:
$180 for the ported box
$300 for each subwoofer
total cost of $780

Im located near New Orleans Louisiana.Make an offer!! Thanks.

why did u add silicone to some good subs? u never do that on jl, u sure its not damage, or refurb. warranty voided for sure. dont expect alot for the subs looking like that.

I read on the internet that adding silicone to lip will only make it stronger and it wont affect the subs performance...i was iffy about that so i asked the guys working at the car audio place about this and they said it will in fact make it stronger but like you said it doesnt look too great but i figured thats better than them busting.

Hmm...sounds weird. I've never seen that done, but it probably wouldn't affect performance.

Good luck with the sale man.
