Its a sub specific box and was designed for the Adire Brahmas but other subs will fit just fine...You will need do know your subs dimensions. I will be putting in my Eclipse SW8122DVC subs which will fit perfect. it will mount in the rear facing rear just behind the rear seats. Its not made specific for the 4Runner but it will fit. I bought mine from www.acoustic-visions.com

ahh ok, I thought that you meant it was a custom enclosure that fit specifically for the 4runner. I've got one now that is a dual 10" enclosure and I wish it was more fitting to the truck so I wouldn't lose so much cargo space. Anytime I need to haul something, I pull the subs out (annoying to have to do).
