Sudden BlueTooth Pairing issue wiith 2011 4Runner, HELP??

I have a 2011 4Runner SR5. I have been able to pair this VERY phone from day 1.

It's an iPhone 3Gs.

For some reason, this morning, when I tried to call out, it wasn't connecting to the BlueTooth. Not sure why...

Checked the iPhone, says BlueTooth is ON and active.

I went through the pairing steps all over again... but after the first 6 commands or so, when trying to pair the phone, it says "Searching.... searching.... searching.... searching..." But NEVER connects.

What could be wrong?? Can anyone help?

This has been discussed A LOT. Happens randomly- sometimes I go a month with no issues, sometimes it happens twice in one day.

On your I Phone- go to Settings/ General/ Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth off, wait a sec, and turn it back on. Should be back in business then.

Happened to me as well but with a Droid. They were pairded but not connected. All I did was pull over - turn the truck off / on and they connected.

has happened to me if i turn bluetooth off while im in the car and turn it back on..quick fix has always been to turn the car off and then on again..

Can anyone explain the difference in selecting "from audio" and "from car" when you are selecting a BT player?
