Hi all,

First time to post on the forums, I've been a 4runner driver ever since i've gotten my license at 18, bought a used 95' 4R as my first vehicle. Later when I moved out to CA,SF for school I traded it for a '02...shortly the new generation '03 4R came out and luckily I was able to switch with no problem. Now I'm interested in customizing my 4Runner, and would like to see some pictures from you veterans & newbies with customs.

I'm looking into offroading so I am interested in lifting my car. What performance issues are decreased when lifting my stock 4R? Also has any of you customised the rear bumper markers into real secondary braking and turn lights?
Can the new LED 06' 4R tail lights fit on a '03 4R?

Can't wait to see some of your pics & hear some suggestion.

ah, welcome to a new member.

Many people have made the rear bumpers into tail lights turn signals or brake lights. do a search and you'll find the how-to thread

yes the 06 LED tails fit without much if any modification.

For pics, check out the gallery section and you'll see a multitude of different styles. Some like the 20" rims, others mud tires and crazy lifts.
