Sulfer Smell GONE FOR GOOD!!!!!!!

I owe a big THANK YOU to whoever posted the notice about the TSB on the catalytic converter issue!!

I had my 90K service done at the dealer today and they installed a new exhaust system and replaced both catalytic converters with new ones........all paid for by Toyota!

Its 35 degrees in Atlanta right now, but I had to test it out by rolling the rear window down and gunning it......and presto.....no smell at all!!!! wooooohooooooo

do you have an extended warranty or was toyota just being nice lol. i have the same problem but have 131K on 04 sport

I need it, I have 58k on mine and hope the would do it, I bought it from CarMax.

what dealer did you take it to? i bought my T4R yesterday and noticed this smell today

I had the work done at Sandy Springs Toyota on Roswell Rd.where i bought my Runner new in 2007. I have had all services done at this dealer.

My extended warranty ended at 80K miles, so this repair was a nice surprise.
