I was looking to get new springs in front and back and narrowed it down to OME 2884 or 2885 in front. Do they both give the same amount of lift? I only have steel skids for now but was planning on getting sliders soon. Should I get the 2885s for the added weight?

Also, would 2895 be ok in the back. I don't do any towing. I just carry a lot of gear when camping. I have 5100s all around with stock springs currently.

Assuming you have a 4th gen?

With the skids & sliders, yes go for the 2885 in front. In the back, it depends on if you think you need the extra load carrying capacity. If you are a v8/4wd go for the 2896 for sure.

On 4th gen:
2884 - 1" lift with stock weight
2885 - 2" lift with 70-180lbs
2886 - 2.5" lift with 230lbs+

4th Gen Rear
2895 - 2" lift stock weight
2896 - 2" lift w/ 330lbs
2897 - 2" lift w/ 660lbs

Killed my 50 dollar air compressor this past weekend and almost just bought another one, then I remembered this thread. Just placed an order for a single ARB compressor. Buy once cry once right? I should have picked one of these up a long time ago.

I got one... it rocks...pretty quiet too. All for tires from 20 to 40 in a single cycle

Came in today, a lot smaller than I expected it to be, but I can't wait to try it out. Going to temporarily mount it in the cargo area on one of the wheel wells because I need it next weekend. Pretty sure I can make it fit where the bottle jack is for it's permanent spot. No room in the engine bay between dual batteries and aux fuse block.

Just FYI If you are considering putting it in a enclosed location, they get real hot. I have an arb dual and after I fill all 4 stock size AT's from 15lbs to 40 you don't want to touch any part of it with bare hands. The coupler gets pretty damn hot, hot enough you'll jerk your hand away and wonder if its going to blister (of course I don't stick my hands in fryer oil either though)

Depends on what you're trying to buy, it's like 15%. Higher the dollar of what you're buying the better the discount.
