Sun roof question

I came across a sun roof complete on a local paper. My 4runner didnt came with one.

Is it possible to have it install in mine? should this be done with a professional help? I saw a thread about some guy's after market moon roof leaked and it caused a leak.

How much am i looking to spend if I were to get it done through a professional?

has anyone done this before? any help or pointers will be great.

I think it typically costs $1500-$2000 for a professional job. I wouldn't pay that much for it. I like the feature but I wouldn't pay that much if it was an option.

yeah I would say anytime you plan cutting a huge hole in the roof of your car, you might want professional help.

I hear it costs around $1000 around my area to have a sunroof installed and it would be new componets not used. But I hear they are always prone to leaking since most aftermarket ones don't have drains.

also many aftermarket sunroofs are underpowered and not as good/reliable as the factory versions
