Sun roof seal on 98 4 runner

I just bought a 1998 limited & am starting a long list of
Preventive maintenance/repairs.
Can the seal on the sun roof be purchased
Without buying new glass? My dealer doesn't
List just the seal and new glass is around $700.00.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Read your post and started looking for myself since I have a moonroof as well...

nothing...

Is yours torn or damaged? If it is leaking and the seal looks good, there was a thread a month or so back about the drain lines being clogged. The OP cleaned out the drain lines and all was well.

If it's in good shape, clean it and keep it coated with some armorall or something.

... or try a boneyard...

It is damaged, looks like dry rot.
I read the post about drain tubes, havnt checked them yet.
Bone yard was my next choice.
Will prolly touch base with a local glass guy.
Maybe he can come up with one.
