Sun-visor rattle when “clipped” into the retainer clip

So the (+ or -) 1” long plastic tube thing on my visors that goes into the retainer clip on the roof is way too thin for the wide mouth of the retainer clip. No snapping in. It just rests on it and then rattles. Thinking I need to thicken the plastic tube thing with tape so it actually snaps in.

Any other suggestions?

There is supposed to be a spring loaded retainer tab inside the retainer that holds it in. It's broken off on my driver's side and intact on my passenger side. If you didn't know it was supposed to be there you'd be hard pressed to figure it out.

Swing by any junkyard with a 3rd gen and grab one. Nobody but weirdos like me ever grabs them. This is how I cover the $2 door charge — if I don’t find whatever else I’m looking for on that trip.

The part number is going to be different for each interior color. Unlike some contemporary (or even current) domestics, Toyota made sure most of that stuff color-matched. You can look it up online from the various Toyota dealers selling parts over the internet. It's reference number (*not* part number) 74348 in the below diagram:
