Sunglass/Map light rattle?

does anyone else's sunglass/map light plastic thing rattle?? That's the only thing that's annoying me lately. Although I'm planning to do a mod of changing it to a Homelink one, but am curious if i need to put some foam, or something in it to make the rattling go away. Thanks in advance!

I just passed 3k miles on mine and don't have any rattles there. My rattle was the rear seat and I fixed that.

I'm approaching 3k miles, and had a rear seat rattle too. The outboard seat belt buckle was hitting the hard plastic trim at the edge of the seat, but once it was wedged into gap so it couldn't rattle, no more noise!

My sunglass holder holds a pair of Serengetti sunglasses in it, and I"ve never had a rattle from there. My holder has a thin foam coating which helps prevent noises; maybe you can get the foam lining piece to install in your glass holder?

You've tried just giving it a firm thump? That often cures some rattles... at least it does for me!

usually, it works for me also, but doesnt work this time.... no worries. i'm gonna replace it with the Homelink console, so any suggestions like, putting foam, or something inside it to PREVENT future rattles from it???
