Sunroof Air Buffeting

On my new 05, with the sunroof opened fully, there is a air buffeting/pulsating sound and feel in the driver's seat. It starts at approx. 31 to 35 mph, with all the windows closed. After the speed increases to approx. 36/37 mph it stops. It’s quite distinctive. This must happen to others. Does anyone know what is causing this and what can be done to stop this besides installing a deflector?

Has to do with airflow. If you open the rear window(s) a crack it will relieve this pressure difference. Also, I don't know where you have your fresh air setting (outside or recirculate) but changing that may also help.

This is exactly right on the money. Open the rear liftgate window a couple inches. I have even dropped the rear passenger windows an inch or two, and this also helps, but sometimes the rear seat belts can osscillate (sp?) which is even more annoying.
