Sunroof and drainage question

I noticed something today when washing the 4Runner. There were some drops of water something through the rear of the sunroof around the seal. None was coming in the car or on the headliner that I could see. Then I noticed drainage holes in the front corners of the sunroof, so I am wordering if the intent is for any drops of water to exits through those drainage holes. Does anyone knows. I have a 2005 model. Thanks.

You gotta make sure those things don't get clogged up. It happened to my runner and the under padding of the carpet soaked up the water. The inside started to smell mildewy and I had to take apart the whole interior to remove the carpet so it could dry.

Long story short it's a pain in the a$$ to do all that so keep your sunroof drains clean and clear.

I hate sunroofs sometimes.:gun5:

This is why I hate sun roofs. They cramp up your head room, burn your scalp when you have it open in day light, make some horrible noise when you drive while its open, heat up you interior in the summer and at some point it will leak... Worst option ever IMO.

Just my rant..
