Sunroof Help

I have a '94 and love it, especially on days kike today when I can open the sunroof. But now the switch is jammed and I cant close it. How do i take the cover off to get to the switch...I tried but Im afraid that ima break it if i pull to hard. Any other suggestions?

My 92 doesn't have a sunroof, but I think I remember seeing the procedure listed in the owner's manual. You should probably have a little crank to insert in a slot to manually close the roof.

So I know this is a 4+ year old topic, but did you ever find a solution to this? The safety switch on my '94 4Runner is also jammed and I want to remove the cover and take a look but I'm afraid I'm going to break it if I just brute force it off and for the life of me I can't figure out how it's attached. thx
