I have one. It makes the sunroof quieter at highway speed. However it causes a pulsing noise between 25mph and 35mph. Someone else suggested thta you crack a window -- that gets rid of the noise.

I had one on but took it off. It came with the rig but I thought that it covered too much of the sun roof. About 1/4 of the opening? I wanted to look up and see the sky not the black plastic. I did not see the need when there was the stock min deflector. No difference with out - you may tell sitting in the back seat but not up front. Saw it the other day still sitting on the shelf in the closet.

Don't think they cost too much if you want to give one a try. Shipping could cost more than the deflector due to it's size.

I have noticed that when the engine decelerates, at 45 mph I hear an electric noise. Something like a stepper motor adjusting something in the sun roof. What is that?

The stock sunroof deflector is speed sensitive... it will raise or lower based on the vehicle speed to help decrease wind buffetting... the noise you heard is indeed the motor raising/lowering the deflector.

The integrated deflector lowers at about 55-60 mph to reduce wind noise, then raises again at about 45 mph. Kind of sounds like a CD changer when it activates.
