Sunroof weatherstrip question

Hello,

I have a 2006 so it's out of warranty now. The rubber around the sunroof glass is coming up around the back corners of the glass when looking at the sunroof from the top of the truck...how does one fix this? Toyota says u can't order the rubber piece without the glass. Thanks for the help.

Can you guys push it back in? I had mine do this once and it has stayed back in for a while.

I did try to push the corners back down and it helped a little...but they don't go back all of the way. It also appears that the adhesive is losing it's grip on the rubber as I look closely around the edge of the glass. I just can't believe that Toyota doesn't just sell that rubber part that goes around the glass...you have to buy the entire piece (glass and all) for like $585 bucks!

I called a sunroof aftermarket place and they said that many manufactures sell it this way...I will try to go by one of those places on the weekend and see if they can do anything for a cheap fix.

Hows this for an old thread?
My sunroof does the same thing when the rear is flipped up. The moulding catches on the roof and pulls up the edge on the back left corner of the glass. I can push the moulding back and "re seat" it, but it will come up again if I open and close the sunroof. Looks like a bit of glue should hold it down and keep it from peeling up. Just need to find a non hardning glue. Let me know if anyone has a better fix.
