Sunroof Window Deflector

Hi,

Just bought an 03 4runner Limited v8 4wd. I noticed at speeds above 45 MPH theres some serious wind noise. I removed the deflector and that fixed the problem, but I'd like to keep it on the car. I was thinking of using crazy glue to keep it firmly attached and prevent the noise. Any alternatives before I use the crazy glue?

So the noise is because of deflector? or because of loose deflector?

I have a weathertech deflector and I can go down the freeway with the sunroof open and still talk with people.

What type of deflector is on there?

You might just want to look at getting a new one, instead of trying to glue it on.

Didn't realize the deflectors were only 50 bucks.

The noise is from a loose deflector i think. Even after I cleaned the dirt underneath and tightened the screw bracket on each side, the deflector remained somewhat loose with pressure. I think its because the rubber pieces maybe warped a bit.

I removed mine because of so much junk building up underneath it. Its a poor design that will rub the paint right off the truck.

Do you know what brand you had? I have a weathertec and am contemplating whether I should install it or send it back.
