I am wondering about adding a a supercharger to my 2000 T4R, SR5 4X4 with the 3400 V6 and an auto trans. I am not a mechanical type of guy, and I would have a hard time doing fog lights.
What I am wondering with the cost of adding a supercharger to my 4Runner being for the lastest verison of charger with the seventh injector being some where around 4K, would I be ahead to just add 4K to the difference between my 4Runner to the price of a 4th generation 4Runner with the I force V8?
My main questions being what is a true power compairson? is the supercharger that much of a difference?
What about MPG? do you lose most of your MPG? with a supercharger?
What kind of MPG do people get with the I-force V8?
Does the V8 have as much, or more power than the supercharger?
Is there a lag with performance, (like a turbo ) with the supercharger?
Do I need a larger oil supply for the supercharger?
Any and all responces will be greatly apprecated, I am at the just thinking stage right now so the $ will I am sure go up before I truly decide to go which way. Thanks for your responces!! TJ:awais:
