1995 Toyota 4runner SR5 3.0 V6 Automatic 4WD

From craigslist post:

"Never thought this day would come, but I'm selling my 1995 Toyota 4runner SR5 3.0 V6 Automatic 4WD. It just sits in the garage since I hardly drive it anymore. So I thought it would be a good idea to sell it to someone who would get a little more use out of it. I bought the truck 3 years ago with 129,000 miles on it and now it has 137,399. I have basically changed everything I thought was bad or wasn't cosmetically appealing. I have records for all the parts I have bought (Mostly from Crown Toyota in Ontario). I have done most of the work myself with the exception of a few items I took into a family friends shop, Alternative Automotive here in Escondido. They are a Lexus and Toyota certified shop. If I were to write out everything I did it would turn into a three page paper. To save you and me the time you can contact me with any questions you have, my name is Tanner. Im Located in Escondido,CA. $7500"

That thing looks showroom clean! But 7500 is still a bit much for a '95 no matter how clean or low miles. I can get into a pretty decent 3rd gen here for that and have a 3.4

It is very nice but unfortunately I do not see him getting that price soon. It's a shame quite honestly considering the 2nd Gen is the generation that formed the basis for all 4Runner's after that. 4 doors, IFS, and solid axle rear. I would reckon that it is also the most common generation at a worldwide level. The vast majority of 4Runner's I have seen in other countries that were actually sold in those countries are 2nd Gens. What really holds it back is the A340H behind that 3VZ. Now the 3VZ paired with an R150 isn't so bad at all. I really dig the very early US spec 2nd Gen's with "TOYOTA" spelled out on the grill alongside the V6 badge and the rear mounted tire carrier.

There's two currently for sale on eBay that are almost as nice and with lower miles and so far bidding is up to $5,600 on one and $6,200 on the other. Think prices for the very clean ones have settled.
