Super sweet CL find

I found this on my local CL its a 2000 4x4 sport in silver, i emailed the guy and hes selling it for his brother and said it has 163,xxx miles on and did not know if it was a manual or auto or if it has a e-locker. Hes asking $3500 which is a really good deal in my area, i am trying to get my dad to buy it because he has a 2002 Tacoma with 295,xxx miles on it (3RZ-FE manual trans 4x4 ext. cab) and hes not sure how much he could get for it or if he could even sell it. What do you guys think? 2000 Toyota 4runner sr5 4x4

They obviously don't want to sell it that bad if they add 2 pictures of the outside and leave it at that with no info about the actual car. I'd call, but if he didn't know anything about it I wouldn't bother, but that's me. that is a good deal though.

I was thinking high mileage rust bucket with a blown motor or transmission problems...or both.
