Supercharged in Houston

Ugh if that were near me I'd be flipping it so fast... without a supercharger though.

Nice looking. Rwd is probably sufficient in TX for 99% of driving if offroading isn't your thing. You could almost buy it, swap the charger over and still come out even or a touch under.

Agreed. Having a vehicle that can relatively easily and cheaply get you to 400k+ is completely pointless, regardless of it's offroad prowess. Damn these super reliable vehicles.
Seriously? Why even post that?

He's just closed minded b/c he lives in WY where 4wd is likely a high commodity and required :flipoff:

Don't get too caught up in smarty pants remarks on the internet lol :D

Considering a clean 2nd gen SC is around $2k, I'd say that's an almost "too good to be true" price.

only dumb asses need smarty pants

If it were near me I'd be going to look at it right now. Buy it for the SC, either sell it or put it on my rig. Or swap motors since it's got such low miles. $4,700 is a steal for that vehicle.

I've always wondered how many 4Runners out there have a SC and the owner doesn't even know it...

I have a friend with a 4Runner and it has a SC badge on each side. I asked them if they supercharged it or if it came that way and they asked what a SC was. Popped the hood and sure enough, 2nd gen.

I've also seen a few ads around CL from time to time with a SC that the seller didn't know about and who then was told by someone what it was. Always entertaining to see the ad change in wording and in price.

Well the post is now deleted. Either it sold fast or it was a scam. Who knows. It had a local Houston area code to the number, so it was at least a local scammer. Support small local businesses!

To get under your skin, obviously

Edit: 4x4 4runners are pointless too

That was my exact thought as well. But, most likely a scam
