Supercharged TRD TB Gasket

Hey everyone, I am getting around to some needed maintenance for the T4r....I have had a few concerns along the way, but nothing the form can't help with!! I am looking to pull my TB to clean it, I do not know when it was done last if at all. I came across this site Toyota 4Runner Highlander Throttle Body cleaning and O Gasket Mod - Searching for information - What is everyone with the SC 4runner using for the TRD TB gasket now? I called Toyota and its no longer available....Can I just modify the stock or is there somewhere I can order the comparable TRD? Thanks again everyone! - Called Toyota again, can anyone confirm that the new part # PTR29-60030 will work on the 1st generation gray SC? It took my dealership a while to find that and then they weren't 100% sure if its for the 1/2 gen sc....From the comparison of the stock, it looks like I might be able to cut the flat portion out to make a complete circle similar to the TRD. Any advice is appreciated!! Thanks!!

I don't have an answer for ya, but I'm interested in what you find out. If anyone might know or point you in the right direction it's Gadget@ URD. You can contact him through his website.....- Underdog Racing Development

Hope this helps.......Regards 8sm

i saw this thread a while ago and forgot to reply, now I dont have a supercharger... yet, but i cut mine. its easy to do and you can save money too right now it runs fine but at the time, taking off the TB cable and everything really messed something up as far as runnin etc, plus i put it on wrong the first time. i still get an unstable idle sometimes on a cold start but im thinking it must be spark plugs.

It will alter your idle but eventually your ECU will relearn. The port is easy to do with the existing gasket. Using a fine pair of scissors for best angle or dremel you just complete the circle where it drops down. The metal is so pliable its literally a 2 minute process once you have it out.

Also, the TRD gasket was paper material compared to the aluminum d gaskets we have. Some argue its a higher quality placement.
