Supercharger and Warranty

Hey everyone,

Just found out about this site and had a question. I have a 2005 4Runner SR5 and just read in the other forums that they actually have a TRD Supercharger out for it. If I bought the supercharger myself through eBay or through someone else, will Toyota install it for me and will it still be covered under warranty?

I think someone before said no they will not cover it. They will not cover a used product bought from another person nor will they install it. If you bought it new from a toyota daler on ebay then maybe. If I'm wrong than someone correct me. If the product was already damaged before install,and if they installed it, they could be held responible.

The 2005 V8 has VVTI and it more than likely will not work with the V8 supercharger. The V8 supercharger was discontinued in 2004, so they probably won't install it in your truck.
