Supercharger install help

Below is a picture of I believe but I'm not to sure I might be missing a part. I bought used and not sure. I'm i suppose to connect something to the tubes?

Everything thing is running fine and not throwing out codes yet. No URD installed as of yet.

I don't know for sure, as your vacuum routing will be different than mine. But those two tubes you circled are open on both ends so they serve no purpose at the moment.

I would say that as long as its running properly, all of your hoses are connected in what seems the right place, and there are no ports that need a hose connected to them, you are good.

BTW there are a TON of little vacuum ports on the 2nd gen superchargers, so make sure they are all either connected to a vacuum hose or capped off. Un capped ports could lead to loss of boost and loss of power.

Isnt the small one for the fuel pressure damper? Im a 1000 miles away from my truck right now, otherwise i would check for you on my runner

Do I need the fuel pressure damper? I got no codes as of yet. Seems to be working great.

I just put a 2nd gen supercharger on my 2000 as well.

I threw that metal piece away and used a longer hose for the large diameter hose that the metal piece is connecting in your pictures.
The install kit from TRDparts4u came with the longer hose :shrug:

My S/C has been running fine for ~400 miles.

So if it makes you feel better mine is basically the same as yours, I just eliminated the metal bracket/connector with a longer hose.

As 4-Ripcord said, both the smaller tubes on that metal piece are open on both ends. Looks okay to me, I'm no supercharger expert though.
