Supercharger oil change

Done some searching but thought I'd ask. Is there any way to change the oil on a 1st gen s/c without remhought I'd askoving it. I see the plug is upside down but thought I'd ask anyway. thanks

Nope. You could drain it partially but you couldn't put any oil back in.

I figured out a way to change the oil on my 1st gen supercharger without losing any oil on the motor.

I removed the bolts that bolt the nose cone assembly to the blower housing. Then instead of separating the nose cone at the gear drive flange, it separated at the flange to blower housing. The roots come out with the flange/gear drive assembly, but I just placed it on rags on the floor and then separated the nose cone from the gear drive flange.

I replaced the spacer that connects the pulley to the gear drive and then cleaned the inside of the nose cone assembly. Then I put anarobic sealer on the both flanges and installed the 4 oz of fluid while it was upside down (fill plug right side up) and then bolted it back onto the supercharger housing. All without getting any oil on my motor....:thumb3:

To resurrect an old thread...where did you get the spacer and oil for it. Mine is in serious need of TLC.

How often should I change oil in Supercharger please?

I just bought my 4th 3rd gen & it is a 2002 T4R Ltd that is factory Supercharged. How often should I change the oil on the supercharger please?

Any other supercharger maintenance tips is much appreciated please!
