If someone could even bargain with him more to get him to drop his price, this would be a fantastic deal. Good find.
 
Sad to think that just about a year ago (or so...) that's what a TRD supercharger cost brand new and the nose cone kit was just under $300. Capitalism at it's best/worse I guess.
 
Wishing I had the money, but it's hard to justify spending half the price of the car on a SC kit.. I mean, it's a great deal and all but...

Cant wait to get it. He seemed like a real down to earth guy to deal with. I've been looking for a good one to come up for weeks.
 
You guys know since TRD discontinued these, the manufacturer magnuson sells the exact same kit without the TRD label for $2900 brand new right? Save $400 on a used system? Doesn't make sense to me but congrats!

but with that new kit, you dont get the fuel upgrades and smaller pulley and boost gauge that you do with this kit. :playball:

I was using craigslist CP pro to search the whole US and it didn't show this one. I had been checking several times daily.

2900-2400=500 last time I checked but I am bad at math so I had to take off my socks and shoes to be sure!

....that and $1000+ in fuel upgrades

Help me with my dilemma!

I can't decide which one to put it on?
1996 Limited 4x4 auto
1997 SR-5 5 speed 4x4 Locker

I am truly having a hard time deciding which of my 4Runners to put it on.
Im leaning toward the Auto just because I will be using it more for towing my trailer every once in a while.

Yeah I would put it on the one you're going to be doing more towing with. Although it would be fun to have it on the 5 speed![emoji48]

Main thing is you're happy. Better check to make sure you can reflash the ECU still. Not sure that exists now that the charger program kicked the bucket. If not you will be modifying that injector to a urd one.
